Five months untill wedding will my wedding dress turn yellow

You are so good to be concerned! Wedding dresses can cost a fortune and delicate fabrics can be "touchy" especially if you live in a high-humidity area (such as much of the South right now).

You should be fine for a few months. However there are some things you might try to help with this.

I not an organic chemist, but I have worked with vintage material before. Natural fabrics such as cotton, silk (satin), linen and even rayon (artificial silk) will deteriorate (turn yellow) because of the acids in both their organic composition and when they come in contact with modern materials (such as newsprint and other papers).

Your best bet is to contact David Bridal and ask them what to do about long-term (meaning several months) storage. Also some dry cleaners will store garments like wedding dresses for a monthly fee.

Here are some DIY tips: Store the dress in a climate-controlled place - OK that means your bedroom. Make room for it even if you have a storehouse of clothes. Don store it in your attic, storage locker (in your apartment) your parents basement, or other place where it could draw dampness or get overly hot.

If your dress is heavy - like maybe it has a long train, long-term (several months) HANGING in your closet can damage the shoulder seams. They High Low Schoolfeest Jurken just can take the weight. If you have room, try laying the dress flat under your bed (in the storage bag, of course) and in a large, acid free storage box to boot. The bag will help keep off dust bunnies and the acid free storage box will help prevent the dress from yellowing.

About 3-4 Trouwjurk 2012 weeks before your wedding, inspect your dress. Check the shoulder seams just to make sure they haven been damaged from hanging. Check it for any signs of yellowing - even though you have taken every precaution to minimize this, if you live in a high-humidity area, it might just have done this on its own. Darn it! Take the time to get it professionally dry-cleaned and de-wrinkled.

Also, at this time, try your dress on - again to make sure it fits the way you want it to. Maybe your vloer-length avondjurken diet just wasn working the way you had hoped and the dress is still a bit tighter than you would like. Or, maybe it was too successful and your dress that fit you like a glove before, now looks like a burlap sack. Check the beading, too. Sometimes beads work their way loose (don ask how - but the just do).
